PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I’ve dedicated my career to developing new brands through thoughtful positioning, art direction, creative strategy, and route-to-market work.
I graduated magna cum laude from Penn in 2018, where I studied environmental science, creative writing, and fine art. I took classes in visual studies, painting, communications, journalism, and music criticism. Notably, I won an award from the Kelly Writers House for a short story I wrote about pickles. I also wrote for and edited the music section of our campus arts & culture magazine.
I also was a four-year starter on the varsity volleyball team. My experience as an NCAA Division I athlete profoundly shaped my approach to the workplace— it instilled in me a strong work ethic, the ability to collaborate effectively within teams, and the leadership qualities of grit, passion, and enthusiasm.
After graduation, I began working at Walmart.com, where I learned how to project manage large-scale tech deliverables. Specifically, I lead the delivery of the postpaid wireless business- which is the ability to upgrade a cellphone online (and reup coverage) through the walmart.com website. Here, I developed an interest in the intersection of ecommerce and digital marketing.
Next, I deepend my expertise in digital, and lead digital marketing for the craft & specialties portfolio at Zx Ventures, AB InBev’s venture capital incupator. I focused on launching American craft beer brands in other, global markets, like the UK, Korea, and Brazil through digital media buys, curated social content, and launching direct to consumer sites with PII data capture.
I eventually transitioned into AB InBev proper, and lead partnerships for the core North American brands, with a focus on IP licensing. During my time between the two organizations, I learned how to design campaigns, buy media, leverage technology to improve creative, create global 360˚ plans, design route-to-market strategies and extend brands into new product categories.
After Half Past sold upwards of 10,000 cases in 2022, the brand was successfully acquired by Casa Komos Brands Group, a beverage incubator specializing in spirits and RTD’s. I supported throughout the acquisition process, creating marketing materials and a roadmap for integration.
Since joining CKBG in 2023, I’ve acted as the brand manager/brand lead for all three of its brands. In 2023, I launched lifestyle tequila brand, Superbird, and aperitivo brand, Doladira, creating and executing marketing strategies for both. In 2024, I went on to manage the flagship brand, Tequila Komos, and learned the ins and outs of luxury marketing. Now, I lead all marketing efforts for both agave brands.
Curious about the startup world, I left ABI and began working at Half Past, a small, pre-seed stage hard seltzer brand. The team had 8 full-time employees, so it was a huge change from working at a global company like ABI. In addition to the critical thinking skills I cultivated at AB, I also flexed my creative muscles by designing packaging, writing copy, creating POS signage & merch, developing the brand’s visual identity, and producing content.
